Post Round Table Chat
Welcome to Issue 0010
Hero Round Table - Michigan 2022 has officially come and gone and as a first-time attendee, I have to say it was one of the most transformative events I've ever been to. On the first day alone there were life lessons to be imbibed, community-changing action to be taken and incredible people to meet. One of the best things about this event is that you can meet the speakers and discuss their work and how you can apply their experience in your own life. I had an incredible talk with Amber Smith about practical activism and how to get started in your own volunteering journey. She really highlighted how attainable positive community action can be, and if you want to check out her work you can visit her website at activategood.org.
The HRT team is only taking a quick rest however as we have our next event in only 2 weeks. Hero Round Table - Yarram 2022 will kick off on the 19th of November. Some of the overseas team will be making the trip to help, and we couldn't be more excited to have them here. We hope to see you on the 19th and 20th of November at the Regent Theatre Yarram.
Finally, we have one more HRT event coming up in San Francisco between the 13th and 16th of March at the Marines Memorial Hotel. I'll let you know here once the date is finalized.
