Happy New Year! We hope that the start of this new year brings you hope, joy, and inspiration. As we look ahead to all that the coming year has in store, we are reminded of the heroism that exists all around us. From everyday acts of kindness to bravery in the face of adversity, there are countless examples of heroic behavior that remind us of the best that humanity has to offer. Thank you for joining us on this journey of discovery and inspiration. Here's to a year filled with hope, heroism, and all the best that life has to offer.
Heroes in humanitarian services celebrated by WR Red Cross. The Western Regional Branch of the Ghana Red Cross Society celebrated the contributions of individuals, schools, and corporate organizations for their dedication to humanity at an event called "Heroes Night." These heroes were recognized for upholding the values and ethics of the Red Cross. Link Here
South Korean Coast Guard Officers rewarded for their lifesaving efforts. Among those honored was Lim Sung-rok who rescued 3 fishermen in January. Link Here
Truck Driver pulls elderly man from burning car. Gary Jones, a truck driver from Queensland, pulled an elderly man from his burning car on the side of the M1 at Pimpama on the Gold Coast and has been praised by emergency services for his heroism. Despite this, Jones insists he is just an "average citizen."
Brothers use jetskis to rescue 4 people after a helicopter crash. Blaine Gabbert, the Buccaneers backup quarterback, became a hero when he and his two brothers rescued multiple people from a helicopter crash in Hillsborough Bay, Tampa. Gabbert called 911 and helped two people onto his jet ski while his brothers assisted a third, and authorities arrived to help a fourth person. All occupants survived the crash.
